Britney actually has her mom listed as one of her heroes. I always assume (sometimes perhaps incorrectly) that these assbags who kill the kids and then themselves think they are giving the ultimate "FUCK YOU" to the other party. Mom actually called the police Monday morning and asked them to do a well-check on him and the girls since she hadn't heard from any of them for a few days. The neighbors said he acted normally on Saturday, the day/night he killed the girls and himself. I'm hoping toxicology samples were taken from the guy and the results are publicized. I'm curious as to whether he was under the influence of any particular substance to facilitate carrying out this atrocity or if he was able to cold-bloodedly do it of his own free will. |

This makes me so sick. How can people be so selfish? A co-worker of mine left her husband 3 and a bit years ago. Twice this year, the kids have gone to visit him and found him passed out after trying to kill himself by overdosing on pills. Don't take it out on the kids you selfish pricks.

The commenter is just showing how she can relate. I don't think it necessarily means that Britney's mom was unstable, just because the other girl is saying that her mom was at one point... I hate these stories. I'll just go with the obvious response- this is a tragedy that I'll never understand. It does seem like the common theme with this particular brand of murder-suicide is revenge. Maybe the suicidal parent never really viewed their children as people, but as something that belonged to them...? It's just sickening. |
