Names of the 16-year-old girl who was killed and the family of five injured when two minivans collided head on on U.S. 6 in Wood County on Saturday were released by the Ohio Highway Patrol yesterday. Springfield Police are investigating the city's 12th murder of the year. Police say at around 5 o'clock Sunday morning 27-year-old Steven Mascaro was shot in the stomach on the fourth floor of his apartment at 284 Oakland Street.
