As my brother tried to pull away he shot at the car several more times. He made it to my parents house and banged on the garage door yelling to my father "Dad I've been shot. He collasped in my fathers arms saying "Dad don't let me Die!" At 12:07am August 6,2003 (59 minutes later) my brother, bestfriend and the "love of my life" DIED in the emergency room at the hospital that was 10 minutes from his house. I still can't believe it!! In one moment my whole life was destroyed along with my familys and his 4 yr old daughter and 7yr old son. I am totally devastated and broken hearted!! It is so unbelivable. My 27yr old brother was murdered on a attempted carjacking on his car. They still haven't found the person that did it. read more...

One remains hospitalized. Loved ones on Friday remembered Christopher Jacob DeWease, 18, of Salem, at funeral services in New Castle. The driver, Robert D., 16, of Clayton, N.C., was listed in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Police said Robert was driving a 1989 Mercedes north on Trevanion Road about 6:30 p.m. when the car went off the road, came back, skidded across the center line and hit a tree. According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper David Hamer, Heather Carney, 17, of Allison 2, lost control of her vehicle while driving at a very high rate of speed near Allison 1. The vehicle first went off the right shoulder on Davidson Siding Road, and then swerved back onto the road and across both lanes, turning onto Allison Road. A 17-year-old girl has been charged with manslaughter for crashing her car last week on the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Arlington and killing one of her passengers. Authorities say the girl was driving more than 100 miles per hour when the black Lexus veered off the road and crashed into a tree Sept. 28. Her name was not released because she's a juvenile.
