A young Penfield man who was an inspiration to so many, has died.

Jonathan Ozimek lived nearly half his life with cancer. He beat lymphoma at age 14. Then, a year later, he was diagnosed with leukemia.

R News was there in 1999 when Jonathan's sister Vanessa donated her bone marrow to help save his life. Jonathan went on to graduate from high school and college.

He was going to be a doctor, and was set to start at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine this summer.

Jonathan Ozimek was 22 years old.
