A memorial service for Jeffrey E. Carpenter, 22, formerly of Bakersfield, Calif., and Heath, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Massey's Pizza in Heath, with the Rev. Robert Knox officiating. All of those who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share memories.
Jeff was born March 19, 1985, in Bakersfield, Calif. He moved to Ohio in 1999 and attended Heath High School, where he graduated in 2003. He was a proud graduate of Central Ohio Technical College, class of 2006, and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Jeff was a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers fan and attended many games with his family and friends throughout the years. He loved to play his guitar and hang out with his buddies, of which he had many.
Jeff was a smart, technical whiz with a witty sense of humor that everybody loved. In fact, he probably is mocking me now as I write this.
Jeff is survived by two sets of loving parents, Jim and Lynn Carpenter and Sandi and Jim Harrop; along with his sisters, Leah Carpenter and Melissa Bonney; brothers, Andrew Bonney and Matthew Bonney; and many Drumm, Carpenter, Corbett and Rains family members across the United States.
Jeffrey was a wonderful soul and will be loved and missed forever.
The family suggests contributions be made to the charity of your choice in the name of Ginkamo.
