A second teenager has died after a Wednesday accident on Route 460 in Mercer County.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Department said 19-year-old Roman McPherson died late Thursday at the Charleston Area Medical Center.

Amber Sweeney, 19, was killed instantly in the crash.

One of the survivors is still hospitalized. Mason Duncan, 18, of Bluefield is in the neuro-trauma intensive care unit of Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

The fourth person in the car, 18-year-old Ashley James, has been released from the hospital.

The accident happened early Wednesday morning on Route 460 in Princeton, near the East River Shopping Center.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Department is still investigating.
