This is my biography of, my eulogy for, and my memorial to Stefanie Calipusan, or as I knew her, Ate Pan.

First of all she was my cousin. I've known her and Ate Sheryl, literally, forever. They were the first friends I ever met. If they didn't come over to our house, me and my sister would always beg and whine until our parents would take us over to their house down the street. Not only were they my cousins and friends but I always thought of them as my older sisters.

We would play Freeze Tag or some other game that we made up. Sometimes we would play just a little bit to rough. And if I had hurt myself I would either run to my mom, one of my aunt, or to Ate Pan, because she was the oldest and she usually knew what to do. And she would take care of me or my sister whenever she was asked, she was always responsible like that, even when her friends came over.

Then we moved. We didn't get to see them as much, but the love was still there. Before I could realize it, 5 years had gone past and Shoun was born, the StefKim persona took form, and was in high school. My sister and I would still beg and whine for our parents to take us the Ate Pan's house. Sure I saw them every now and again, but not enough.

About Ate Pan and Ate Sheryl... man... I remember they would sometimes fight like there was no tomorrow, but most of the time they would get along. Not only were they sisters, they were friends, and good ones at that. Ate Sheryl would even dress up like her a little bit, you know copy her style and what not. As they got older they matured, not fighting as much. But yeah, that all I really remember. I don't know what else to say except, those are my sisters.

About Ate Pan and Shoun... Shoun was the baby of the family but soon became Ate Pan's baby. She would always take care of Shoun when their parents were gone or at work. She would be carrying him around, burping him, feeding him, changing his diaper, taking him to school, picking him up, and even get him into acting. She was his sister, part-time mother, teacher, disciplinary, chauffeur, and manager. She was everything he ever needed.

Now about Ate Pan and Kim, or should I say... StefKim or KimStef or StefKim CalipusanTaylor. Whatever you decide to call them, just like their newly forged name, they were inseparable. And if by chance they were ever separated, they would always be on the phone talking to each other. And if they were not on the phone, one would just stare into the picture they had of the other and would just remember the time they saw each other last or yearn for that time to come again. All in all, they were always thinking about each other. Their relationship IS the definition of love. I always wished that one day I could have a relationship like that. If Ate Pan is the older sister I never had, then Kim is the older brother I am fortunate to have.

During her burial... After the prayer, I realized something. It was when everyone was putting flowers on top of her beautiful casket I realized that although it was readily overflowing with roses and orchids trying to show our sympathy and love but it would still not be enough. There would not be enough fields to grow the flowers neccessary to even come close. And so I stood there, watching flower after flower being laid down which such care, as if it was Ate Pan herself. Then I finally gathered enough courage to say my final good bye. I offered no flower for there is nothing in my possession that I could have put to express my sorrow, so I just kneeled forward, pressed my forehead against her casket, and said "I love you."

Uh... all in all, I love my cousin and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and even some who didn't.
