One teen was killed, and another was seriously injured after a car crash Friday night.

It happened on the 6200 block of Clearview Road in Dover Township, York County around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said the driver of a Ford Focus lost control and hit a tree.

The York County Coroner said Corey Brady, 14, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second teen, Steffen Reeser was flown to York Hospital and is in serious, but stable condition. Brady was in the passenger seat of the car. The coroner said Brady died from multiple traumatic injuries after not being properly restrained.

Dover School District superintendent and friends said Reeser was the driver of the car.

The teens were both students at Dover Intermediate School. The district superintendent said the school will have extra counselors on hand Monday.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
