Julie E. Bryant Resident of Martinez Julie Elizabeth Bryant, beloved daughter of Will & Becky Bryant, died tragically in a car accident on November 9, 2007 in Davis, California. Julie was a 2006 graduate of Alhambra High School in Martinez where she played flute for three years and was part of Mr. Miller's last band class. She also participated on the Mock Trial Team for four years as witness, attorney and accused. Her freshman year she traveled to Ireland and Scotland with her English teacher, and went on several EF Tours with Mr. Florence, visiting France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Julie was also a member of the tennis team for three years, being elected co-captain in her senior years. At the time of her accident, Julie was enrolled as a sophomore at UC Davis, majoring in history. She was a well-liked guide providing campus tours to prospective students and their parents. She was an avid supporter of her boyfriend Matt Rybicki's crew team. Matt also died in the accident. Julie knew how to laugh and enjoy life with her friends and family. She was intensely loyal to them as well. Julie knew her mind, spoke her mind, and shared a mutual love and respect with everyone who was important in her life. Julie is survived by her parents, William and Becky Jones Bryant of Martinez; her sister, Amy Bryant Agee and nephews, Oran & Garrett Agee of Redding; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, all of whom have a warm place in their hearts where Julie lives on. Funeral services will be held at Connolly & Taylor in Martinez on Thursday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord at 2 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Julie's name in support of breast cancer research.
