The Alabama State Troopers are still investigating a one-car accident that claimed the life of a Scottsboro teen ager.
According to Trooper reports, Heather Lea Utter, 17, of Scottsboro, died as the result of an 8:55 Wednesday night wreck on Alabama Highway 79. The accident occurred two miles north of Scottsboro.
Utter was the passenger in an unknown vehicle driven by William Precise, 17, of Scottsboro. Precise was critically injured. Both occupants of the car were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, reports claim.
Utter was a student at Skyline High School.
