A young Long Island woman died after her car struck a guardrail on the Belt Parkway, police said yesterday.

Lori Crean, 21, was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry when she hit the rail on the eastbound side of the parkway at 7 a.m. Saturday.

The accident happened as Crean, a Bay Shore resident, was approaching the Flatbush Avenue exit. There were no passengers in her car. Rescue workers pronounced her dead at the scene.
