Authorities are trying to determine what
killed a 15-year-old Chesterfield County girl who collapsed and died during a recreational-league softball practice.

Chesterfield police spokeswoman Ann Reid says the state medical examiner's office will determine what caused Kelsey Perry's death.

She collapsed Thursday night and was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Perry was a student at Chesterfield Technical Center.
