FOWLER, Moriah Olivia Kathryn Age 19 died of Hodgkin's Lymphoma January 7, 2010 in Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of the Rev. Dr. Mark A. Fowler of Evanston, IL and Kathy Fowler of Lancaster, PA and cherished sister of Ben Fowler of Philadelphia, PA. She was a 2008 graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School in Lampeter, PA. She was an active participant in the National Honor Society, Marching Band, Concert Band, and school musicals. She also played oboe with the F & M Philharmonic. She was accepted to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Ithaca College. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, PA where she participated in a variety of choirs and mission trips. She traveled extensively, including trips to Eastern Europe with American Music Abroad, to England, New Zealand, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She lived in Framingham Ma the first three years of her life while her father was pastor at First United Methodist Church there. Then 1993-1999 she lived in Needham while her father was pastor at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church. Moriah was a member of Carter Children's Bell Choir and attended Carter Center for Children and Hillside Elementary School. A Memorial Service will be held at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Highland Ave., Needham, Saturday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
