Aaron F. Groff, 25, of Upper Nazareth Township, was stricken at home and passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, surrounded by his loving family. Born: February 11, 1985 in Phillipsburg he was a son of Debra J. Stubitch Manuel and her husband, Leon, with whom he resided and Jacob F. Groff, Jr. of Upper Nazareth Township. Personal: Aaron was a graduate of Nazareth High School, class of 2003. He worked in the laundry department of Gracedale County Nursing Home for the past five years. Previously he worked as a cashier for the 7-Eleven convenience store in Nazareth. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and enjoyed movies. Memberships: He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth and the East Lawn Volunteer Fire Co. Survivors: In addition to his loving parents; paternal grandparents, Jacob F. Groff, Sr., of Lower Mt. Bethel Township and Eleanor Jones Roskilly of Palmer Township; a sister Melissa A. LaBar and her husband Jeffrey of Upper Nazareth Township; a niece Olivia LaBar; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frank J. and Ruth E. Snyder Stubitch. Services: A memorial service in celebration of Aaron's life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath. Friends and relatives are invited to call 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
