The body of a 23-year-old female was found in a wooded area off Calamus Pond Road in Berkeley County on March 31, Berkeley County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Salisbury reported.
According to Salisbury, the body was identified as Britta Lee Reinhardt of Ladson.

An autopsy was conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina on Thursday morning. The results are incomplete pending the results of toxicology and tissue testing, Salisbury said.

No trauma to the body was found and there was no evidence of foul play.

The death is under investigation by The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office and The Berkeley County Coroner's Office.
