Jeremy Scott Weeks, 27, of Lashmeet, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Princeton Community Hospital from natural causes. Born July 26, 1983 at Charleston, he was the son of Mary Davis Weeks of Lashmeet and her companion Johnny Shrewsbury and the late Dannie Ray Weeks.

Jeremy was a 2002 graduate of PikeView High School and was a member of Bailey Memorial Baptist Church at Giatto. He loved people and never met a stranger. He loved to go to church and always had a smile on his face.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Rachael Weeks; his maternal grandparents, William and Maxine Davis; and a sister, Debbie Williams.

In addition to his mother, survivors include four brothers, Chad Gaeto of Lashmeet, Joshua Weeks and his wife Trisha of Tallahassee, Fla., Larry Weeks and his wife Jennifer of Falls Mills, Va. and Danny Weeks and his wife Kelly of Oklahoma City, Okla.; special little brother, Isaac Jones of Princeton; special aunt and uncle, Bob and Ruby Weeks of Oakvale whom he loved dearly; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverends Larry Bailey and Tom Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Weeks, Nick Shaw, Johnny Shrewsbury, Rex Shrewsbury, Richard Tiller, Ronnie Tiller and Larry Weeks.
