Michael T. Goulet, 21, of Saco died Thursday Oct. 14, 2010 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness. He was born in Portland on Sept. 30, 1989, a son of Bradley J. & Linda A. LeBlanc Goulet. He was educated in Saco schools, graduated from Thornton Academy in 2007 and was attending St. Joseph College in Standish.
Michael worked summers at Hannaford's in Saco and Huot's Restaurant in Camp Ellis and recently served an internship at Sweetser Home in Saco. He was a member of the Standish Knights of Columbus and served on various religious ministries at St. Joseph College. He had volunteered for several years with the Saco Knights of Columbus, serving Thanksgiving dinners at Most Holy Trinity Church Hall.
Michael was the most beautiful, kind-hearted person. He had a sense of humor that lit up the lives of many. Having a passion for helping others, he avidly volunteered with the elderly, sick and those with disabilities. He had a profound faith in God and lived his life through his faith . In his words, 'His first and greatest blessing was his family.'
