A 20-year-old man died Friday evening after being shot at Main Mart, 2423 N. Main St., according to the Montgomery County Coroner.
Deonta Beans, of Dayton, was killed after a fist fight among youths, police said.

Beans was a customer shopping inside the store at about 5:30 p.m. when one of the youths involved in the fight pulled out a handgun, said Dayton Police Sgt. Wendy Stiver.

Beans was shot once, according to the coroner.
He was pronounced dead at 9:03 p.m.
One suspect was interviewed by detectives about 8 p.m. Friday, police said.

Police had no further details Saturday.
April Sibert, 29, lives in the neighborhood a block or two away from the shooting, which occurred at the Main Street intersection with W. Parkwood Drive. "There are more thugs than police around here," she said. "It's terrible, the crime. There are fights going on all the time."
