One man died in a single-car crash early Monday on Interstate 275.

A man driving south on 1-275 shortly before 3 a.m. lost control on the Lois Avenue exit. The Nissan Versa swerved left onto the grassy embankment and the car turned over, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers had conflicting information on who was driving at the time of the crash. Michael J. Wamsher, 34, died. Jason W. Pittaro, 32, suffered minor injuries.

Both men are from New Jersey. Neither man wore a seat belt.

Troopers were still investigating the crash. It has not been determined whether alcohol was a factor.
