A Saginaw community coming together with the M.S.U. community, mourning the death of a Saginaw teen who collapsed at an M.S.U. team camp.

University officials tell us 14-year-old Dorian Dawkins from Saginaw High collapsed during the closing minutes of a game at the annual team shootout camp Friday night.

He recieved immediate medical attention and was transported to Sparrow Hospital where he later died.

Officials aren't releasing any more information about the incident at this time, but University President Lou Anna K. Simon, Athletics Director Mark Hollis and Head Basketball Coach Tom Izzo all releasing statements saying they're greiving the loss.

62 high school teams participate in the annual event representing Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.

M.S.U. is offering grief counseling services to all participating teams at the shootout.
