Funeral services for Mr. Dak Evans, 18, of Anniston, will be 3 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at Rabbittown Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Murray officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 5 - 7 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Mr. Evans was a graduate of White Plains High School and a member of Rabbittown Baptist Church. He worked at Stewarts Market and hobbies include working on cars, hunting and fishing. He was a good son, grandson, and friend to all he met. Mr. Evans is survived by his parents, Dirk and Lisa Evans; a brother, Drew Evans; grandparents, Mike and Sherry Evans; aunts and uncles, Elaine Williams, Martha and Jerry Clifton, Donna Hill, Roger Steele, Cathy West, and Larry Brock; his best friend, Daniel Stewart and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Irene West and William and Helen Steele and an uncle, Tim West. Pallbearers will be Daniel Stewart, Brandon Batey, Max Riley, Kerry Odon, Cody Hardcastle, and Dillon Thornburg. Dak will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
