He was reported to have died the evening of May 28, 2007. The toxicology report revealed alcohol and methadone in his system. For years Korey had struggled with his addictions and for two years was completely sober. After returning from Army National Guard boot camp and AIT school, Korey found himself back into his old habits. No one knew he was back to using drugs. Sources say he got the methadone from an acquantance and with the little bit of alcohol consumed that night he went to sleep and never woke up.
