Darce was born on Oct, 11th 1964 in Arcata and left this earth on July 31st, 2010 at the age of 45. Darce was an inspiration to everyone that met her. After overcoming her addiction, which she was about to celebrate 19 years clean, Darce graduated from College of the Redwood with two AA degrees. one of which was in Automotive Technology and it was this that she chose to pursue as her life's work. Darce was a fierce advocate of organ donation due to the fact that she herself was waiting for a liver transplant which unfortunately never came. Her fight with liver disease brought her close to all types of people for whom she probably would have never meet otherwise, including her close friend Marilyn Anderson for whom advocated for Darce with many doctors and hospitals to assist Darce in getting better. Darce was not only a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend but she was an awesome "gamma" to her granddaughter Jozelynn whom was the apple of her Gamm's eye, they were definitely two peas in pod. Darce is survived by her daughter Cacy, son Randall McCovey, granddaughter Jozelynn, mother Patricia, grandmother Dorothy Brown, brothers Larry and Kenny LaRue and her sister. The Parker family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone that has been there and supported the family during this, the most difficult of times. Darce you will be forever missed, but we all know that you are in a better place looking down...
