Funeral services for Cody Daniel, age 21, of Rusk are scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at First Baptist Church, Rusk, with the Rev. Donnie Barron, the Rev. Lee Welch and the Rev. Jim Goforth officiating.

Burial will be in Russell Cemetery, Rusk.

Mr. Daniel passed away Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2011, in Rusk.

He was born Feb. 13, 1990, in Nacogdoches.

Mr. Daniel was a derrick employee for Helmerich and Payne. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rusk.

Survivors include parents, Steve and Terri Daniel, Rusk; brother, Seth Daniel, Rusk; sister, Tara and husband James Hayden Newman, Rusk; grandparents, Terry Ted and Floyce Moore, Alto; Ike and Norma Daniel, Rusk; aunts, uncles and cousins, Ted and Betty Moore, Alto, Shannon and Ed Boniface, Santa Fe, N.M., Craig and Kim Anderson, Phoenix, Ariz., Zachary, Josh, Caleb and Jared, Alto, Lauren and Greta, Phoenix, Ariz.

Pallbearers will be Seth Daniel, Zachary Moore, Josh Moore, Caleb Moore, Jared Moore and James Hayden Newman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Jones, Brandon Dement, Trent Vaught, Chance Davis, Alex Morin, Adam Hicks, Kyle Gunter, Kyle Dyess, John-David Beard, Mark Glover, Tarrance Turner and Matthew Selden.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at First Baptist Church, Rusk.
