Barbara Renee Duell, 25, of Lone Rock, lost her battle with cancer on October 14, 2011; she was born on June 14, 1986 to Lisa (Duell) Schlueter and Jerry Duell. Barb graduated from River Valley High School with honors. Barb worked at the Shell Station in Lone Rock for four and half years, and briefly at Rumble Seats in Spring Green. She also volunteered at the Youth Center in Lone Rock. Barb had an excellent memory and remembered everything about everyone she met, even if it was only once. She loved her family and friends very much despite their flaws and faults. She was never one to hold a grudge and was always the first to forgive. Barb was a wonderful young woman, who loved country and gospel music, wrestling, football, animal's children, and most of all babies. She was a good person inside and out. She will be missed by all those whose lives she has touched, especially her family. Barbara was survived by her parents: Lisa (Randy) Schlueter of Lone Rock and Gerald Duell of La Crosse; Brothers: Andrew Duell of Lone Rock and Nathan (Erica) Duell of Madison; Step-siblings: Ryan Taylor of California, Kevin and Tegan Schlueter of Richland Center; Grandparents: Donna (Gary) Miller of Lone Rock, Larry (LouAnn) Sneath of Muscoda, Irvin Duell of Richland Center, Wilmer (Esther) Schlueter of Cazenovia, and Donna (Steve) Hoth of Richland Center; Great Grandmother: Phyllis Klock of Lone Rock; Aunts: Lonna (Tim) Goodell of New York, Lori (Brian) Wild of Stoughton, Linda (Dan) Jones of DeForest, Sheri (special friend Ron White)Shepherd of Lone Rock, Diana (Craig) Perkins of Texas, Debra (Ike) McKittrick of North Carolina; Uncles: Kevin (special friend Lana) Barry of Baraboo, Ed Duell of Boaz, Jim Duell of La Crosse, Duane Waddell of Lone Rock and Paul Miller of Lone Rock; Great Aunts and Uncles: Ione Fenne of Richland Center, Ray and Dorothy Buroker of Cazenovia, Virgil and Dorothy Buroker of Richland Center, Earl and Anne Buroker of Richland Center, Dan Beebe of Lone Rock, Earl and Marcia Felton of Richland Center, and Myrtle Morris of Richland Center. many other friends, and cousins. Barb was preceded in death by her Grandma Barbara Duell; Great Grandpa, Bruce Klock; and Great Uncle Gary Klock. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Woodstock Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service of Richland Center is assisting the family with their arrangements.
