Benjamin Lee "Ben" Trusievitz of Jesup, died Monday, August 29, 2011, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

A native of New York, he had lived the past seven years in Jesup and was a 2007 Wayne County High School graduate. He was currently employed as an electrician apprentice with McInnis Contractors of Brunswick and was formerly employed with Inman Electrical of Jesup and a member of IBEW 508 of Savannah. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth Lavoid Lowman and Nola Mae Lee.

Survivors are his parents, John and Shelia Lowman Trusievitz, Jesup; two brothers, Nick Trusievitz, Brunswick and Jake Trusievitz, Jesup; paternal grandparents, Stan and Joyce Trusievitz, Bath, NY; a nephew, Max Trusievitz, Brunswick and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, from the Bristol Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Harris officiating.

Graveside services will follow in the Lightsey Cemetery, beside the church.

Active pallbearers will be friends and family.
