Sarasota County Sheriff's Office have identified the body in a pond found Tuesday off of Edwards Drive and are now considering the death accidental as they await an autopsy.

Jonathan C. Morganson, 27 of Sarasota was found dead Tuesday in the pond that is in between New College of Florida and USF Sarasota-Manatee. The Sheriff's Office found the body after responding to a call.

Morganson lived across from the pond, according to the Sheriff's Office.

According to his Facebook profile, Morganson worked at Barnicle Bills and studied at USF Sarasota-Manatee.

The medical examiner's office initial examination showed no signs of trauma, but an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death was scheduled to be done Wednesday afternoon, according to the release.

This was the second body recovered by the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

Early Tuesday morning a deputy on routine patrol found a man lying dead on the road in Gulf Gate.
