Geoffrey Dean Gatlin Age 50, died at Tacoma General Hospital peacefully January 24th, 2012. Born November 9th, 1961 to Leah and Dave Gatlin, raised in Lakewood, WA, he was the middle of three boys. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1984. During his studies at PLU he dated and soon married Karen Thompson, March 23rd, 1985. Geof is survived by his wife Karen, son William, 24, daughter Amanda, 21, granddaughter Kaylee, brothers Gene and Jerry, and his parents. Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Lakewood, WA. All relatives and friends are welcome.
