Ryan D Malmborg, 37 of Martinez died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 28, 2012 following a brief yet courageous battle with cancer. Ryan was born March 18, 1974 in Muncie, Indiana and graduated from California High School in San Ramon in 1992 and continued his studies at Diablo Valley College and Arizona State University. A loving and devoted husband, he was married in Columbia, California on August 1, 1998 to Amanda (Brach) Malmborg. He was the father of two precious children, Madison Malmborg and Jackson Malmborg. An avid fan of sports football and baseball were his favorite. He enjoyed cooking, camping, traveling and most of all enjoyed the time spent with friends and family. He was active in the community and an active member of Creekside Church in Martinez. Ryan is survived by his adoring wife, Amanda Malmborg of Martinez, amazing and beautiful children Madison and Jackson Malmborg, parents Richard and Lou Malmborg of Alamo, Larry Holcomb of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his brother Clifford Malmborg Concord, grandparents Earle and June Gottmann of Boca Raton, FL and Edith Louise Holcomb of Muncie, IN and a host of friends and family. He is preceded in death by grandparents Benjamin and Wilma Hammons of Muncie, IN and Richard Holcomb of Muncie, IN. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Creekside Church in Martinez, California on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.
