Todd Chytraus passed away suddenly on February 13th from health related issues.
Todd was born June 10, 1964 to Richard and Darlene Chytraus. His parents, grandparents and extended family were thrilled and doted on their new arrival. He was the oldest of three children and his siblings looked up to him as a role model and loved him very much.
Todd attended and graduated from Skyline High School where he lettered in track, was on the honor roll and was well liked by all. After high school Todd received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. He left the Academy to serve a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Johannesburg, South Africa. Upon his return he attended the University of Utah on a scholarship and graduated with a degree in Business and continued on to be a very successful and dedicated businessman. While at the University, Todd was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, where he served as an officer and made lifelong friendships that continue to today.
Todd was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he most recently served as the financial clerk for the Brighton 7th ward. Todd was an experienced pilot, an avid fisherman, boater, traveler and outdoors man; but the thing he loved most was doing all of these activities with his wife Heidi and his four children. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and son and friend.
Todd is survived by his wife Heidi, his children Sarah, Connor, Carter and Cooper, his Mother Darlene, his sister Julie, brother Craig ( Kimberly), as well as his Uncle, Aunts, several nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard
Funeral services will be held at the LDS Brighton Stake Center (2895 E Creek Rd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah ) beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday February 20, 2012, followed by a short graveside service.
