Thomas W. Hood, 39, of West Mifflin, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Jefferson Hills and was a full-time home schooling father. Born June 3, 1971, in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of Emory Lee Hood, of Glen Burnie, Md., and the late Catherine Ann Petrosky Hood. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Patricia A. (Klena) Hood; daughter, Rose Catherine Hood, at home; sister, Emily Lee Hood, of Aberdeen, Md.; aunts, uncles, a niece and a nephew. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Floyd Hughes officiating.
