Rachel (Rae Rae) Nichole Nice of Pleasant Hill, Oregon passed away at the age of 20 on April 14th, 2012.

She was born on February 19th, 1992 to Douglas and Sandra Nice of Pleasant Hill. She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 2010. She earned her CNA 1 and 2 certificates in preparation for her nursing education. She was attending Lane Community College.

Rachel had a love for animals and was an active member of 4H. Growing up she participated in soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball and cheerleading. Her high school cheer squad were 3 time state champions. She was an avid Girl Scout having earned her silver and gold award. For her gold award she built a bird aviary for the senior citizens at Creswell Health and Rehab.

Rachel was incredibly driven and motivated and knew where she wanted to go in life. She had a smile that would brighten anyone's day and was caring and compassionate for both friend and foe. She was beautiful on the inside and out. Rachel was a parent's dream daughter and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her parents Doug and Sandy of Pleasant Hill; her brother Brett and nephew Matthew of Eugene.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pleasant Hill High School gymnasium on Sunday, April 22nd at 3pm.
