A South Dakota man has died in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Iowa.

KLEM-AM reports that the man lost control of his car at the crest of a hill and hit a truck Friday morning south of Rock Valley. The Sioux County sheriff's office identified the victim as 28-year-old Keith Steier, of Canton, S.D. He died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, identified as 24-year-old Jesse Maasen of Rock Valley, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
