Kerrie Denise Box Cano-Cata age 36 passed away March 16, 2010 after a sudden illness at Freeman Hospital.

Kerrie was born August 20, 1973 in Joplin MO. to William D. Box and Phyllis Box Perrie. She graduated from Webb City High School in 1991 and was employed 10 years at Aegis Communications.
She was currently employed by AT&T Mobility. Kerrie married her soul mate Breft K. Cano-Cata Oct. 11, 2008 at the family home in Joplin MO. She took great pride in her work and was a very dedicated employee. She received achievements for Extraordinary Customer Satisfaction, Feb. 2008 and for Contributions to her Program Excellence from Aegis, Feb. 2007. She recently received from AT&T an award for Top 100% QA, Feb. 2010. She was also a new member of Girlfriends of 91. If you knew her, you would know her first priorities were her husband, mom and family. She was a loving, caring friend to everyone she met.

Kerrie was preceeded in death by her father, William D. Box, her grandparents, James, Alice and Ruth Wilcoxson and her cousin Jason Wayne Brown. She is survived by her loving husband, Brett Cano-Cata, her mother, Phyllis Perrie both of Webb City, her mother-in-law Dawn Cano-Cata, her sister-in-laws Tamara and Darien Cano-Cata and their children, Austrailia, her sister Linda Wintjen Williams and her husband John, her sister Michelle Chitwood, her aunt Joyce Brown all of Joplin, her uncle Jim Wilcoxson, Springfield, MO, two nieces Taylor Wintjen, Oklahoma City, OK and Sunday English, Joplin MO, her cousin Casey Brown and his wife De, her cousins De Cota and Bailey Wilbanks all of Springfield, MO. and Maycee Rhodes of Oklahoma.

She will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. Kerrie left a legacy of always being fair, loving and forgiving. Never forget her babies Mitsy, Molly, Sassy, Brandy, Essay, Lucky and Snowy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday March 19th at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Joe Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Kerrie will lie in state from 11:00-7:00 Thursday March 18th with visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.thornhilldillon.com.
