Daiana Michelle Barber, 21, died Feb. 27, 2012, at her home in Kansas City, MO. She was born July 23, 1990, to the parents of the late James Thompson and Dawn Barber-Owens.

Daiana worked as a phone operator for the A.D.T. Security Company. She was a graduate of Topeka High School and had attended one year at Kansas State University.

Survivors include her mother, Dawn Owens, Denver, CO. grandparents, Albert Timmy and Barbara Barber, Topeka and Georgia Smith, Raytown, MO. sisters, Nycole Bird, Kierra Owens, Tanaya Owens, all of Denver, CO. and Timari Barber, Topeka.

Daiana will lay instate Mon. Mar. 5, from 4 - 8 P.M. Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 P.M. Services Tues, Mar. 6, at 11:00 A.M. all at Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel with burial at Topeka Cemetery.
