A 21-year-old western Kansas man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash that also injured six other people.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Jance Kruse of Oakley died in the crash Friday night near Colby. The patrol says the crash occurred as the vehicle Kruse was in failed to negotiate a curve in the road.
The Salina Journal reports ( http://bit.ly/NtHBTx) that the vehicle rolled, ejecting four of its seven passengers, none of whom were wearing seatbelts.
Kruse was taken to Thomas County Hospital in Colby, where he died. Six passengers ranging in age from 17 to 22 were hospitalized with injuries.
