Logan Brent "B" Pickrell was born September 29, 1985 at Searcy, Arkansas to Eddie and Peggy Pickrell. He is survived by his mother Peggy Pickrell Johnson of Cabot, one brother Randy Pickrell of Des Arc, two sisters Krystal Pickrell Hinshaw of Des Arc, Tarra Pickrell Morris and husband David of Little Rock, grandfather Logan Crane of Des Arc, 6 nephews Richard Farrish, Trenet Whiting, Zac Urias, Brayden Pickrell, Ty Pickrell, Seth Morris, two nieces Mia Dunlap, Lillyanna Morris, aunts Tammy Crisel, Joyce LaFountaine, Paulette Sutton, Linda Klink, Betty Archer, uncles Danny Bowers, Bobby Pickrell, Reggie LaFountaine, Sammy Sutton, Richard Klink, and Sam Archer. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Joe Pickrell and grandparents Genice Crane, Ezra Pickrell, Norma Pickrell, and Kenneth Coots. Brent loved life and his friends. He belived in helping others less fortunate. He had numerous medical problems from birth, Crohn's Disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Common Variable, Immunodeficiency. He never complained as a child, though he was in pain everyday of his life. When he was eight years old he was getting his IGG infusion at Children's Hospital, something that he had to get every 2-3 weeks until he was 13 years old. There was a 4 year old little girl that was crying because she did not want to get an I V started. Brent dragged his I V pole over to the girl and took her hand and said "Don't Cry, Jesus won't let anything bad happen to you". He held her hand until the I V was started, then read books to her until she fell asleep. This was just one example of the compassion and love that came from within Brent. Brent loved spending time with his Papaw Logan Crane. He once said that Papaw was the wisest person he'd ever known. His greatest love was for his nieces, nephews and the numerous children of his friends that he also thought of as nieces and nephews. He was very proud of each one of them. Brent's cause of death was Sudden Cardiac Arrest due to a blood clot from his arm that dislodged and went to his heart. Brent's love of his family and friends will be missed by all that knew him. Brent passed away Monday August 2, 2010 at North Metro Medical Center in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be at Garth Funeral Home in Des Arc Wednesday August 4, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 P M. Funeral services will be at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church in Des Arc Thursday August 5, 2010 at 10:00 A M. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Des Arc. The family would like to thank Suzie and Mike Henly, R N's at North Metro for their special help, Baptist Hospice and AR Hospice and the multitude of friends and family that provided support in our time of great loss.
