Todd W. Schaller, 48, of Grand Island died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at St. Francis Skilled Care surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Burial will be at the Grand Island Cemetery with honors provided by the Grand Island Rural Fire Department.

Family will be greeting friends an hour before service time.

Mr. Schaller was born Feb. 20, 1964, at Grand Island to Robert and Betty (Sloniger) Schaller.

Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Pamela; children, Krystal Schaller and her friend, Tyler Paulsen, Brett Schaller, Katelynn Schaller and Jonathan Schaller, all of Grand Island; his mother, Betty Schaller of Grand Island; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sandy Stoltenberg of Grand Island and Rachael and Harvey Evans of Grand Island; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Butch and Darlene Dixon of Palatka, Fla., and Gary Dixon of Grand Island.

Also surviving are special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Susan Dixon.

Todd was raised and received his education in Grand Island. He was united in marriage to Pamela Garris on April 28, 1990. Todd worked as a private contractor.

Some of his enjoyments were fishing, golfing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family. He was a proud member of the Grand Island Rural Fire Department.
