Robert John Bertolacci Jr. passed away suddenly on May 12, 2012. He was born on March 25, 1991, in Nyack, New York. Robert graduated from Nyack High School in 2009 and was a student at Arizona State University where he was studying Criminal Justice. Robert had plans to become a New York City Police Officer and had already been accepted into the Police Academy class of 2012. He was an avid Giants fan, and played football for the Valley Cottage Indians and later for the Nyack Indians with a group of guys that he considered his brothers.

Bobby was kind, loving, and loyal to all. He had a smile that would light up a room. He loved his family, especially his sisters, more than anything in the world.

Beloved son of Robert and Karen. Loving brother of Christina and Taylor. Cherished grandson of Mary Crowley and Gloria Bertolacci. Robert is also survived by 4 Aunts, 4 Uncles, and 13 Cousins whom he adored.

Visiting is scheduled for Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church in Congers. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Rockland Lake, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Robert's memory to the Robert J. Bertolacci Jr., Nyack High School Scholarship Fund, C/O 88 South Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960.
