Brooks Foth, 25, died on Monday, May 14, 2012, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on February 6, 1987, the son of Thomas Foth and Beverly Smith. He graduated from Winneconne High School in 2005. Army Private First Class Foth was an EOD (explosive ordinance disposal) student at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. One of Brooks' passions was mechanics which led him into joining Army Delta Company EOD detachment. Brooks had a wide variety of interests including animals, motorcycles, auto mechanics, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and spending time with family and friends (especially his partner in crime/road trip buddy Trevor).

Brooks is survived by his parents Tom (Mary Ann) Foth and Beverly (friend Jeff Jenrette) Smith as well as his grandmother Millie Smith. Nine siblings including Tyler Reitzner, Tiffany (Steve) Thrun, Travis (Amy) Foth, Trina (friend Chris LaSage) Foth, Tanner Foth, Brandon (friend Hilary Kilgore) Foth, Greg (Michele) Bender, Robert Bender, and Brittany Foth mourn the loss of their beloved brother Brooks. He is also survived by 7 aunts and uncles, 14 nieces and nephews, special friend Kylie Knoblauch and many other relatives and friends who have been blessed by having Brooks in their lives.

Brooks was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Betty Foth and Donald Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating, followed immediately by burial at St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah, with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Family and friends will remember Brooks for his big smile, hearty laugh, giant heart, unending kindness and great generosity. We love, miss you, and will see you in our heavenly home.
