Rudy Luna, Jr., 40, a resident of the Cornelius community, died Thursday afternoon, August 2, 2012 in a tragic motorcycle accident.

RUDY LUNA, JR. was born February 29, 1972 in Caldwell, Idaho, the son of Rodolfo Luna, Sr. and Enedina(Salazar) Luna. He was raised and received his education in Ontario, Oregon, having been a graduate of the Ontario High School Class of 1990 from which he made and maintained many close and lifelong friendships.

Upon his high school graduation he moved to Portland, Oregon.

He united with the love of his life Kahli (Johnston) Luna in 1994, and together created his two reasons for living Karis Luna 1995 and Kendra Luna 1997. To Rudy family was everything. His greatest passion was his two beautiful girls. His priority was dedicated to always making sure they knew how much he loved them , providing for their every need, sacrificing anything required to support their goals, dreams, and ambitions. His love never wavered, his patience never faltered.

Rudy had worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor for the Leatherman Tool Company in Portland.

The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation for seeing us through his last 6 living years, and for the outpouring of love and support from both his peers and Leather Man Tool Group itself upon his sudden passing.

He had a rare love for life, and was truly wise beyond his years. His glass was never half empty nor ever half full. He walked through life with his cup running over. Always living on the bright side knowing he was blessed.

Rudy was a man who never met a stranger. He loved and was loved by the masses.
