That drowning in Lisle Thursday has been declared an accident. It happened at Upper Lisle Park in the Town of Triangle, around 1:30PM.

The victim was 45 year old John Rafferty of 393 Landers Corners Road in Willet.

Police say Rafferty was swimming with his family where the Otselic River meets the Whitney Point Reservoir.

He went under for some unknown reason.

Foul play is not suspected.
