Shannon Anthony McDaniel, 26, of Airport Road, died at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near his home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, with Armond Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Pallbearers will be John Jordan, Jeremy Seadler, Jeremy Thomas, Chris Gearhart, Scott Bennett, Dillon Fleming, Kahle Morris, Jr., Wade Holbrook and Trinity Lindsey. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. A native of Brunswick, Georgia, he was born September 30, 1985. He was the son of Bobbie Lynn Roberson and the late Michael McDaniel. He was a U.S. Army veteran, who served in Iraq. He worked as an 88M10 Motor Transport Op. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Gaile Fleming McDaniel, two sons; Christopher Cole McDaniel and Gavin Anthony McDaniel of the home, one daughter, Ava Gaile McDaniel of the home, one brother; Michael McDaniel of Brunswick, Georgia, his sister Mia McDaniel of Brunswick, Georgia, his paternal grandmother Norma McDaniel, maternal grandfather Randy Brewer and his stepfather Todd Roberson of Brunswick.
