Authorities say the February death of a 24-year-old Pennsylvania woman who moved to Michigan to care for her mother has been classified as an accident.

The Livingston County sheriff's department says the body of Pittsburgh resident Kalin Rose Woods was found under a deck of a home after her mother reported not seeing her for a few days. The mother had been hospitalized in Ann Arbor at the time.

The department on Thursday issued an update on the case, saying cause of death was hypothermia due to environmental cold exposure. Toxicology testing detected high concentrations of alcohol in her blood, and the department says that was a contributing factor.

The home where her body was found is in Iosco Township, about 45 miles northwest of Detroit.
