Destiny Elizabeth Tapley, 15, of Notasulga, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, due to an automobile accident. Destiny was born October 18, 1997, in Opelika, Alabama. Destiny was in 9th Grade at Reeltown High School. She was a member of Beta Club and was very active in many school activities. She was a member at Notasulga First Baptist Church. Destiny was a vibrant young lady who lived life to the fullest. Her smile would light up a room; her laughter and humor was captivating, and that passion and love for life came through to anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her. She will be remembered in our hearts and deeply missed. She is survived by her mother Maggie Watkins Tapley; her father Kevin Tapley; her sister Delayna Tapley; her brother Gaines Tapley (all of Notasulga); her stepmother Stacey Cain and sister Carrigon Tapley of Jasper, AL; her maternal grandparents Billy and Kathy Pudden Watkins of Auburn; grandmother Sarah Henderson of Auburn; her paternal grandparents J.W and Janet Tapley of Notasulga; her great grandmother Winnie Logan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 12, at Notasulga First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 13, at Notasulga First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Notasulga Memory Gardens Cemetery.
