The great fisherman Bryan LeRoy Cullup, 52, passed away December 30, 2012 of a heart attack near his Skagit River. He had a great few days free from health complications and remarked that "It was a great day". He is now free from pain and able to fish God's river with friends and family that had preceded him in death. Bryan was born November 27th 1960 in Anacortes, WA to Lynn and Bernice Cullup. He was raised in Bellingham, graduating from Bellingham High School in 1978. He married the love of his life Kathy flee' Elmore on November 11, 2006. Through Kathy's relationship with God, Bryan found his Savior and was baptized April 7th, 2007. He loved dancing which brought him to meet his wife. His other great love was fishing with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lynn and sister Carol Dianne. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, brother Dale (Don), and sister Donna. He has two surviving sons, Ryan (Naomi) from Lynden and David (Malia) from Tennessee and their children Alanah, Brandon, and Kelly. Two step-daughters Lisa Nelson(Pete) and Amanda Elmore and their children Brianna, Nathan and Felix. He is blessed with a numerous extended family to Include cousins Connie, Bonnie, and Martin, nephews, Mykal and Adam and their children. We will miss Bryan's kind and caring wisdom-filled heart and his friendly big smile. Bryan's Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 7th at 12:15pm, Immaculate Conception, 110 South 5th Street, Mount Vernon WA with a reception shortly following the services at the parish center. Bryan wished instead of flowers memorial donations made to the DiabetesFoundation, Heart Association or Catholic Community Services.
