The Denver coroner has identified the man killed when he fell under an RTD bus last Friday.

Richard Paul Christman, 38, also known as Manuel Villalovas, was running for the rear passenger door as the bus was leaving and fell under a tire, according to police.

The accident at the intersection of South Irving Street and West Alameda Avenue happened at 11:22 p.m. on June 28.

"The cause of death is multiple injuries due to a bus striking a pedestrian," according to a new release from the medical examiner.
