Barry Meyer, 42, of Las Vegas, the president of Tuff-N-Uff Productions, a Las Vegas based MMA promotion company, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. He was born Nov. 17, 1970, in Chicago, and was a southern Nevada resident since 2006. He was inducted into the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame in 2010 and was a committee member of the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. In 2011, he received the Most Innovative Afterschool Program Award from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Nevada. He is survived by parents, Dale and Burton Meyer of Palm Springs, Calif.; loving brother, Jeffrey Meyer of Las Vegas; a loving aunt; and numerous uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct.18, at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Candlighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Nevada. King David Memorial Chapel made the arrangements. -
