Colby William Emerson, 20, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 25, 2013, at his home. He was born Dec. 30, 1992, in Bitburg AB, Germany, the son of Dana and April (Farnsworth) Emerson.

He was a graduate of Jonesport-Beals High School, class of 2012. He went on to become a lobster fisherman. He loved his car, always having to make sure it was clean and detailed. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, gaming, and the time he spent with family and friends especially with his special girl, Dakota Raye.

He is survived by, and will be greatly missed by his parents, Dana and April; two brothers, Dakota and Casey; his paternal grandmother, Ramona Emerson; and maternal grandmother, Marlene Farnsworth, all of Jonesport; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and very special friends. He was predeceased by both grandfathers, George Emerson, and George Farnsworth, and a very special friend, Tyler Turcotte.
