Nicholas "Nick" Ellis Nutt, age 17, of Powder Springs passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. Funeral Services were held at North Metro Church, Marietta.

Nick is survived by his parents, Richie Nutt and Sheri Nutt of Powder Springs and his sisters, Brittny and Gabrielle Nutt of Powder Springs; grandparents and his dog, Hershey and 2 ferrets, Lightning and Leo.

Nick was a rising senior at Hillgrove High School, a member of the Lacrosse Team and attended North Metro Church. Nick stood strong for many things. His favorite Bible verse was Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you, Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
